Minority Government Confirmed in B.C… Now What?

Yesterday afternoon, Elections BC completed the final count of all ballots cast in the provincial election. In the critical riding of Courtenay-Comox on Vancouver Island, where the BC NDP led by just nine votes on election night, the NDP managed to increase their margin and hold the riding for a 189-vote victory over the BC Liberals.
The results confirm British Columbia now has its first minority government in 65 years, with the B.C. Liberals maintaining a 43-41 edge over the NDP, and the BC Greens holding the balance of power. The critical question that remains is: Which party will the Green’s support to form government?
